Last week, I wrote about how being tickled as a child led to my own long held trauma. Maybe you also had negative experiences with tickling as a child, or maybe you hold trauma around a totally different issue. The question is, what to do about long held trauma?

We are all capable of bringing self-healing to long held traumas.


This week, I’m sharing a visualization to transform trauma due to tickling. And yes, although this visualization has been specifically created to help those of us recovering from trauma around tickling, it is easily modified to be used for any type of long held trauma that you’d like to heal. I recommend first reading through the steps, and then modifying the language to fit your specific needs.

Note: I’ve found this guided self-healing visualization to be the most helpful when I repeat it 3-5 times a month. However, even doing it once could help you release some of the past trauma. Give it a try, and please respond to this email and tell me about your experiences.

Why release trauma?

What would releasing layers of trauma mean for your peace of mind? In my own case, it was astounding to me, almost miraculous, that, after many sessions of massage therapy my body could feel calm and safe being touched again. I am still doing the deeper work to heal the mental-emotional layers that impact the physical layer, and one way to do that is by using this guided self-healing visualization. Although peeling back the layers of trauma, and congestion does take time and effort, doing the work is worth it. Everyone deserves peace. You deserve peace.

Feeling inspired by my students in the new Reiki Skills Development Program

I’ve begun holding sessions for my new Reiki Skills Development Program. Students are having success expanding both their intuitive and Reiki skills. As I lead these sessions, I am witnessing my own Reiki and intuitive skills continuing to expand.

This program for Reiki practitioners, consists of four consecutive Reiki sessions with me, held at one of the following intervals; weekly, biweekly or monthly. In these Zoom or in-person Reiki sessions, 25 minutes will be spent with you giving me a Reiki session and 25 minutes will be spent with me giving you a Reiki session. These intensive sessions greatly expand your Reiki and intuitive skills. You will find, much like the students who’ve already signed up for this program, that your Reiki self-healing skills will develop to deeper levels.
