How are you feeling today? Are you tired from taking care of all your obligations, or stressed about something coming up later this week? Do you wish you had a simple way to reset your energy?

Today, I’m pleased to share a self-healing technique using Reiki that you could try from the comfort of your home. You don’t need any previous Reiki experience to benefit from this technique. This guided meditation takes less than 8 minutes and helps you to invite and experience the healing energy of Reiki in your body, mind and spirit. Warning: side effects may include feeling cool, calm, collected, and full of peace.

Three reasons why you wouldn’t want to try this:

1. You don’t have the time

Think about your day, and envision if you might be more productive once you feel better. I have a feeling you will find a time of day that you could devote a few minutes to this exercise.

2. You’re not sure Reiki, Archangels, or a higher power, exist

Tip: it doesn’t matter if you believe or not; Reiki and the Universe are just waiting to help you. My best advice is to ask for help and see what happens. As a recovering skeptic, I prefer to test something out before I reject it.

3. You’re afraid to feel more peace and calm

Uncomfortable feelings actually become familiar. But, I urge you to take this small step and see how it makes you feel.
